Strong odds — this play session should land an escape.
How to push the number up
The queue you pick moves the odds more than anything. Three habits that raise a real survivor's rate:
- Stay within a teammate's reach — a Medic's healing aura or a Fighter's stun can pull you out of a grab.
- Split generators, not the group. Isolated survivors are the killer's first target.
- Learn each killer's cue: The Rotten's traps, The Project's mode switch, Ennard's disguise.

Key takeaways
- Bite by Night is a 4v1 Roblox horror game, not a box-opening RNG game.
- Survivors need teamwork, objective progress, and careful routing through lit areas.
- Killer pressure is strongest when one survivor separates from the group.
- This page now uses violet #7c3aed and blood red #dc2626 as the primary visual language.
Survival loop
How to survive the night
The page now matches the actual Bite by Night fantasy: killers, survivors, objectives, chases, dark routes, and horror pacing. The homepage now stays focused on Bite by Night survival decisions.
Stay together
Solo survivors are easy targets. Pair a scout with a healer or support role when possible.
Finish tasks
Survivors win by completing objectives and buying enough time for the escape clock.
Listen for cues
Every killer has different pressure sounds. Headphones help more than sprinting blindly.
Use light routes
Dark open paths create easy chases. Rotate through lit rooms and short corners.

The Rotten
SwingM1 · Active
Basic melee attack that deals 34 damage with the axe or 28 with fists.
Remnant CleaverQ · Active
Charges and throws the axe for around 20 damage, applying bleed and slowness to whoever it hits.
BeartrapE · Active
Places a bear trap after a short setup that stuns any survivor who walks into it.
ScreamE · Active
Sends out a shockwave scream that blinds nearby survivors and highlights their location.
ChargeR · Active
Lunges forward to grab a survivor, dealing 40% of their current health.
Security Guard
TaserQ · Active
Charges and fires a taser that slows and briefly stuns the killer.
CamsE · Active
Opens the camera system to track survivors, objectives, and the killer, and highlight generators.

Reading the round
How survivors actually lose the night
The most common way a run falls apart is one survivor peeling off to finish a generator alone. The killer tends to swing toward whoever drifts from the group first, so shadowing a second survivor through lit corridors keeps both of you alive longer than sprinting solo. You can model squad-versus-solo odds in the survival planner above.
Each killer applies pressure differently. The Rotten zones you out with a bear trap and a thrown axe, The Project switches between speed, strength, and stealth modes, and Ennard can disguise as an eliminated teammate. Knowing which one you are up against decides when to hold a generator and when to break line of sight. The full kit for every killer and survivor is in the abilities database.
Two habits that genuinely help: redeem the latest active Bite by Night codes before a session, and read each killer's ability kit so you recognize the cue to break line of sight. Pair that with the character and unlock guide and most first-night losses stop being a mystery.
The corridor layout I lean on: lit rooms in the center, dark open paths to avoid during a chase.
How we source this
How we build and source this guide
Character names, abilities, and Scraps costs come from the public Bite by Night wiki and Beebom, not copied from another guide. The survival planner runs its math live in your browser so you can check it.
Survival planner
The queue-type rates in the planner are illustrative defaults you can adjust. The tool compounds a per-match survival rate across N rounds with 1 − (1 − rate)^N — the standard "at least one success" formula — so you can enter your own rate for a personal estimate rather than trust a fixed number.
Roster and abilities
The 3 killers, 5 survivor classes, their abilities, and Scraps unlock costs are cross-checked against the community Bite by Night wiki and Beebom. Where a specific value could not be verified, we leave it out rather than invent one.
Sources
Game mechanics and creator credits are cross-checked against the public Bite by Night wiki and Beebom roster and tier pages. Bite by Night is an asymmetric survival horror game — there is no spin, box, or gacha system.
Freshness
Codes and roster notes were last re-checked on May 20, 2026. We re-verify codes before flagging them active and date every list, because expired-code pages are the fastest way to lose a Roblox reader's trust.

Who developed Bite by Night?
Public wiki sources identify OzelBlox and BlueRev as the lead creators behind the Bite by Night project.

Survivors complete objectives, manage items, avoid the killer, and try to last until the match escape condition opens.
Is this site affiliated with Roblox or the developers?

How do I improve my survival odds in Bite by Night?
Stay near at least one teammate, route through lit rooms, and finish objectives instead of chasing solo plays. Queuing as a squad generally survives longer than going solo because the killer can only chase one target at a time. You can model your own odds with the night survival planner near the top of this page.
How do you unlock new killers and survivors in Bite by Night?
Characters are bought with Scraps, a currency you earn by playing matches. There is no spin, box, or luck mechanic. Killers: The Rotten is free, The Project costs 4,500 Scraps, and Ennard costs 6,000. Survivors run from the free Customer up to the Technician at 1,600 Scraps.
